One of my favorite things about giving gifts is the opportunity to dress up the exterior of the package. Brown kraft paper is one of my favorite materials to use for gift wrapping. It is so versatile, and can be adapted to fit any occasion!
I found this beautiful floral printed kraft paper at the dollar store of all places, but you can achieve a similar look by stamping onto plain brown paper (or even onto a recycled paper shopping bag). To embellish this package, I wrapped some extra wide lace around the middle of the box, and secured it on the underside with a dab of glue. I then tied a thin silver ribbon around the center, and attached a silver-rimmed adhesive tag with a small pearl heart embellishment glued on. I think adding a monogram using a stamp, stencil, or sticker would be a wonderful way to personalize a package!
When it comes to gift wrap, what kinds of materials do you like to use? I’d love to hear your ideas.
