It’s time to share a recap of my winter 30 for 30 remix! There were two main reasons that I decided to participate in my second 30 for 30 challenge. First one being that I’ve been feeling a bit discontent with my wardrobe lately, and I needed to see my closet through fresh eyes. The second reason is that as a new mom, I needed a little kick in the pants with being creative with my wardrobe again. I’ve been pretty good about getting dressed everyday, but I too quickly fell into the habit of putting on a “mom uniform,” and I was getting bored. This challenge was just the refresher I needed.
Except for just one day, I took all of my own photos for this challenge. I’ve been wanting to start taking my own outfit photos for flexibility’s sake, and I figured that this challenge would be the perfect time for me to start using my tripod and self-timer on a regular basis. I know that indoor photos are not ideal, but being that it is the dead of winter and I need to sneak my photos in while my baby is napping, I’ll take it!
Here are the 30 outfits I created over the past month, with handy links beneath each photo if you want to see more details about any of them.
Each of my 30 items was worn at least twice during this remix challenge. As for my most worn articles of clothing, there was a tie between my grey jacket, chambray shirt, striped t-shirt dress, black mini skirt, and red skinnies, which were all worn four times. The shoes I wore the most were my black booties with leopard detail, which were a part of nine outfits!
Here are my four favorite outfits from this challenge:
So, with two 30 for 30 challenges under my belt, would I do another one? I sure would, but with one stipulation. I would really like to do one during a different season, since both of the remixes I’ve done have taken place in the winter. I’d love to have open toed shoes or sandals in the mix, and be able to go without tights!
You can check out a link up of the 30 for 30 participants’ recap posts here. Thank you to all who have followed along during my remix journey, and for the kind and encouraging comments you’ve left me. You guys are the best! :)

Please do this again during the spring and summer. Great ensembles!
Thank you, Elizabeth! I certainly hope to do another one once it’s warmer out. :)
I really loved all of your outfits. You have a knack for putting stylish outfits together, and also for taking your own photographs. I do love the wall color in your living room, it makes everything pop. Well done! and I can’t wait to see your spring/summer 30×30 challenge.
Thanks so much! :)
You know I loved your print mixing all month :) Thanks so much for linking up this month!

CONGRATS on finishing! it’s great to see all the ways that you wore red pants!
Thanks, Dotty! How I love those red pants. :)
You did such a great job with your 30 x 30! I was looking at your collage of outfits and you can’t even tell you were only using 30 pieces! It’s a good thing!
That’s a great compliment – thank you Elissa! :)
I think you did a great job with the challenge! Congrats for sticking with it and breaking out of your wardrobe rut!
Thank you! I’m glad I stuck it out, but I am quite happy to be done. :)
