30 for 30: Day 25

30 for 30: Day 25
It’s day 25 of my winter 30 for 30 remix – just five more outfits to go!

30 for 30: Day 25

I touched upon the subject the last time I wore this polka dotted top, but I am feeling less than enthused about it. I’ve worn it twice already during this challenge, but wasn’t a huge fan of either outfit. I wanted to give this top one last chance at redemption, so I created a mash up of the previous two outfits that I think works a whole lot better. I guess that’s the beauty of doing a wardrobe remix – you can rework your previous combinations to create something that you like better. Not every outfit will be a home run!

Polka Dotted Top, Three Ways

(1, 2, 3)

Sadly for this top, despite my better luck the third time around, I think it’ll be disappearing from my closet for awhile (perhaps banished to my maternity clothing box in storage). I think I’d be better off just finding a regular polka dotted blouse, rather than working around the wonky length of the skater dress.

Top – H&M
Cardigan – gift (Dex)
Skirt – GAP (old)
Boots – Aldo
Necklace – Limette
Belt – thrifted
Tights – thrifted new in package (GAP)
Nails – OPI, You Don’t Know Jacques

  1. Hi Kim. My name is Ada and I found your blog through Sam’s Page. I see you have joined the 30 for 30 Challenge this week too and from what I can see through your last 6-7 outfits, you are doing a great job with it.I like how you paired stripes with polka dots here. Great cardigan too which picks up the color of those fun Olive Tights. And I love your cozy Cognac Boots.

Hopefully we can follow & support each other. I am your newest fan. Ohh and here is a little surprise for you:

Have a Great Sunday Evening, Ada. =)

    • Thanks, Jessi! It took two whole years for me to track down the perfect pair of brown leather boots. They are my tried and true favorite!
