Also, as a bonus today…Samantha tagged me to share some of my favorite things from 2012. Even though the first month of 2013 is more than halfway over, I figured it would be a good chance to share a little more about myself. You can see Samantha’s answers, as well as the latest link up from the 30 for 30 participants here.
Favorite Makeup: I can’t boast a fancy makeup routine, in fact, I don’t even wear makeup everyday. When I do, my “routine” can be done one-handed in approximately 20 seconds. Despite my minimalistic ways when it comes to makeup, my long-time favorite product is Clinique’s lipstick in Spiced Apple. I’ve been using the same shade for about four years – I love it!
Favorite Book: One book that I read and loved in 2012 was The Help, by Kathryn Stockett. I read it in just three days – I could hardly put it down. Highly recommend!
Favorite Song/Album: Definitely the highly anticipated most recent release from Mumford and Sons, Babel. I seriously still can’t get enough of the song I Will Wait. Gives me chills!
Favorite Movie: I go to see a movie in the theaters maybe once per year, and I always save that outing for something I am really excited about. Last year’s pick was Moonrise Kingdom. I am a Wes Anderson fanatic, and his latest film did not disappoint!
One Thing You’re Grateful For: My daughter, Blair. I know I’m a little biased but isn’t she the cutest thing ever?
Greatest Challenge: In my humble opinion, there is nothing more physically challenging than childbirth! I’m thankful to have had a very positive home birth experience this past September, which you can read more about here if you’re interested.
Looking Forward to in 2013: Watching my daughter’s transformation from a baby to a toddler, continuing to become more social and involved with other moms in my area, and celebrating my fifth wedding anniversary with my husband in October!
Feel free to share your own answers to the above questions above in a blog post or in the comments section!

OMG YOUR BABY IS SO CUTE SHE DOESN’T EVEN LOOK REAL. Those cheeks! I die! When she grows up, if she can’t appreciate the awesomeness of that skirt, threaten her that you’re gonna give it to me instead :)

Haha, you’re funny! She’s my little Cabbage Patch Doll. ;) I am SO curious to see if she will grow up to love clothes like her mama!
That skirt is GORGEOUS. I fell in love the moment I saw it.
And here’s an unbiased opinion: your baby IS the cutest baby ever. There you go.
Love your blog! :) I found you through Sam’s 30 for 30 links. Now following you on Bloglovin!
Thanks for dropping by, Lynette! Back when I bought this skirt, H&M had a whole bunch of things with the same floral pattern (blazers, pants, etc.). I kinda wish I’d picked up another item or two – this pattern has grown on me so much! Looking forward to checking out your blog too. :)
I think this is my favorite outfit so far. I just loved how your paired the lace with the floral. and I just LOVE the two toned bubble necklace. Fantastic!
Thank you! I really liked this outfit too – I’ll definitely be repeating it at some point.
