Today is a special Valentine’s Day themed round of Everybody, Everywear – everyone is wearing a combination of pink and red! While I don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day, I do love the holiday’s iconic color combination, so I was totally game for today’s challenge.
Once the theme was announced, I knew that these shoes had to be a part of my outfit. They couldn’t be more perfect for the theme, and I definitely don’t take them out to play enough. You can see how I wore the same shoes in a more summery pink and red outfit here.
Also, I don’t usually include my outerwear in my outfit posts, but I couldn’t resist today since my favorite coat so happens to fit into the theme. I found this coat majorly discounted (more than half off) a few years ago, when I was working in NYC. It’s the kind of item that I hope is a part of my wardrobe forever.

So so cute!!! I also don’t celebrate “forced” holidays like VD. Besides, our wedding anniversary is 2/9, so my husband usually gets me an all-encompassing gift for VD, anniv and my birthday. That way, I can go big.
